Luke and Becky were married on August 10^th, with a ceremony and reception at Chatham Bars Inn.

The day of the wedding ( a Monday!) was gorgeous. Sun was shining, birds were chirping…Mondays on the cape are glorious (no traffic, lots of room to park), it was wonderful.

I started out in Becky’s room as she was getting ready, and she had me in stitches the entire day. I’d only met her face-to-face earlier that week (Becky and Luke live in the UK), and, yet I felt like we were old friends. Becky put on her stunning wedding dress—so ethereal and romantic—and then I headed down to the boathouse to capture Luke’s finishing touches before their ceremony.

Tracy from Tangorra Wedding Planning was there for this wedding, and as you all probably know, I ADORE her. She always knocks it out of the park, and with such a chill demeanor! The ceremony backdrop was a beautiful archway of flowers—such a picturesque spot on the beach.

After the ceremony and photos, they had their reception at the boathouse with the ever-amazing band, Kahootz. The band played vintage Frank Sinatra songs, and the whole thing had a vibe of old-school romance as the guests danced away the summer night and enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit.

One of the best parts of the day was watching all the cute kiddos everywhere! They all seemed to be drawn to Becky, and it’s obvious how much these two love kids. I especially loved the moment when the kids were actually crawling under her dress!

Becky & Luke, You are such a darling couple; you are so sweet, funny, and loving. Thank you for allowing me to capture your stunning day in Chatham! Huge hugs to you both.
