Lauren and Tom were married in a beautiful September wedding, with a ceremony and reception at OceanCliff in Newport, RI.

Tommy and I went to high school together, and I used to occasionally drive him to college back from break—I went to Lehigh, and he went to Lafayette (rival colleges!).  When L+T reached out to me to let me know they were getting married;  I couldn’t have been happier for my old friend.

I started the day off at Lauren’s parent’s house in Newport, and I was quickly obsessed with the house and wanted to move in. (seriously) Meanwhile, my second shooter, Shawn Read, was with the fellas at OceanCliff.

The guys took a trolley to meet us out the house, and Lauren and Tom had their first look on the porch. From there, we went around the corner to the gorgeous Elms for some photos and then back to OceanCliff for their ceremony and reception.

The bridal party and families were full of smiles, laughs, and fun—it was a gloriously joyful day! It also felt very intimate: Lauren’s brother married them, and I saw so many people from high school; I love it when people stay so close for so many years.

Tom & Lauren, I am THRILLED that you both found each other and so happy that you chose me to capture and be a part of your day! Love to you both!
