Emily and Kyle were married on July 11^th with a ceremony and reception on warm summer day at Fasig Tipton in Saratoga, NY.

The groom’s brother and best man, Evan, is a dear friend of mine ( we grew up together!) so it was just great seeing him and his family so happy while they celebrated Kyle and Emily.  K+E are both so cool and fun, and I laughed so hard with each of them throughout the day.

On the day of the wedding, my second shooter, Laura Widness, was with Kyle and the guys at the Inn at Saratoga, and I was there with the ladies. I was pleased to see that the fellas were STYLIN’. I mean, I wasn’t surprised to see such a posh outfit from a Gilligan (they are always decked out looking sharp), but these outfits were amazing.

From there, we did a first look at Yaddo Gardens, and then it was off to Fasig Tipton for their ceremony under a large tree.

Sometimes, being from the Albany region, I think we take for granted the fact that the race track is so close. But, I have to say, this is one cool venue. I mean—a wedding amongst horse stables?! Unreal. seriously. The portraits with the gorgeous light by the horse stables definitely win the award for some of favorite images from this wedding.

Kyle & Emily, Congratulations! Your day was so unique and special, and I am so grateful you had me there to capture it! Thank you again; I had a blast with you both on your wedding day!
