Patrick and Lindsay were married on June 27 with a ceremony at the Church of Holy Cross followed by a reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza.

Whenever it really rains during an engagement session… it won’t rain on the wedding day.   That’s what I tell my couples anyway… and so far, it’s been true! While we had a rainy engagement shoot, L+ P had a beautiful wedding day. ( the rain held off until the reception!)

Shawn was with the guys at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, and I was with the ladies at the Fairmont Copley Plaza for the getting ready portion of the day. We hopped on the trolley to the beautiful Church in the South End for their ceremony, then took a few quick shots there and finished our formal photos outside of the BPL and Copley. After that,  they partied the night away!

 There was just SO much love at this wedding: Between friends. Between Family. Between L+P.

One favorite moment of mine from their day was the father/daughter dance. Instead of a song, Lindsay surprised her Dad with a pre-recorded note of how special he was to her. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house; it was the sweetest dance.  When I took them outside for a few night shots, I told her how great her father/daughter dance was. She looked at me and said something along the lines of “All of it was true. He really is the best Dad.“

Also, I remember them being so excited that they got married on a day where officially ANYONE can get married to each other. Love is Love.
