Becki and Pete were married on May 7^th, with a ceremony and reception at Simsbury Inn. I knew I was going to love Becki and Pete, (because I am friends with her brother and sister-in-law) but, I ended up ADORING them—they are so fun-loving and thoughtful! (Such a great pair)

I started out the day with the ladies at Simsbury Inn, while my fabulous second shooter, Addie Roberge, was with the guys for getting ready shots.

The forecast called for rain, so we were inside for the ceremony. ( Which was lovely)  However, it ended up being a nice, overcast day, and we were able to take their photos amidst some BEAUTIFUL dogwood trees in bloom next door.

I loved all of the small details/personal touches from their wedding:  From the cherry blossoms in the centerpieces, to the Coast Guard uniforms, to the fact that Becki “borrowed” her processional song from her maid of honor. I also couldn’t handle the cuteness of the flower girl (the daughter of my friends) and ring bearer, and the daddy/daughter dance was an incredibly touching moment.

Becki & Pete, Thanks for letting us capture your GORGEOUS day. I couldn’t be happier for you both!
